Home Builders are adding Smart Home Security Systems to their homes to meet buyers expectations.

Caldwell Electrical has been expanding our Smart Home–Security Alarm Systems by offering packages to local Home Builders. Home Builders like Arista Development, Red Cliff Homes, KT Homes, D.R Horton, Classic Heritage to name a few are offering their customers a Standard package that includes a Smart Home System, Security devices, Smart Locks, Smart Lighting, Door Bell Cameras and more. Home buyers today expect new homes to have built in home automation, something Caldwell has been providing for over 14 years.

Every Smart Home Automation System starts with Pre-Wiring the house for network and cable tv drops. Additional Cat6 drops are installed in both the front and back yards for future cameras. All wiring goes back to a LV panel where ISP modem, WiFi and other components needed to run the smart home system reside. The benefit to this centrally located LV (Low Voltage ) panel is all wiring is at one location and ISP modem is hidden away freeing up the clutter in the normal living room spot most ISP modems are located. The WiFi router is also located in the LV panel, giving easy assess to WiFi signals throughout the house in addition to an interconnect to Modem and other hard wired devices.

With built in Home Automation utilizing smart home devices, customers can get a home where lights, doorbell camera, outdoor/indoor cameras, locks, thermostats, sprinkler systems and more can be controlled through the security panel, voice or one app on a smart phone-tablet.
